Measure your product and fit it to the appropriate bags. Remember that bag sizes are expressed Width x Length x Gauge (thickness), or Width x Depth x Height x Gauge for gusseted bags.

(See our guide for bag material and dimensions.) When your bags arrive, they should not measure less than the list dimensions, but they will often measure slightly more. Where fit is critical, let us provide you samples.

Decide on the appropriate film thickness (gauge). (See our guide for choosing the right Mil thickness.) Government and industry standards provide for a variance in Mil thicknesses to accommodate for production fluctuations. Our bags are manufactured to be approximately 10% over or under the list gauge. We are proud to lead the industry in consistency and quality.

Fit your bag to the packaging application. Decide if you prefer individually packed bags or bags on a roll. Consider whether you will close them with twist ties or a sealer, and be sure to leave room for closure. Make a list of concerns and match them to a product.

Locate the products you need in the catalog. For bags, check the column heading to find your gauge, and read down the columns to locate your size. Observe the case count and calculate the total cases you will need.
